Insurance
We have
comprehensive insurance on all bikes when hired.
We will take details of your licence at the time of booking, and will need to see
two proofs of identity when you come to pick up the bike. We will photocopy your licence and the proofs to comply with the terms of the insurance.
The excess is different for each type of bike and your deposit will be to cover this. A credit card is essential for the deposit, which will be refunded on return of your (undamaged) bike.
If you damage the bike the charge will be actual cost of replacement parts and our mechanic's time charged in 30 minute blocks. We will do all we can to keep these costs to a minimum and you will receive a detailed invoice of the amount charged.
